This is a step by step guide for the migration. If you are an existing subscriber, you will be receiving the invite with a special code. If you are a new subscriber, just give this a once over, it’s quite straightforward.
Please spend a minute to go through. I strongly suggest doing it on a laptop/desktop/tablet.
Phone works too but don’t torture your eyes.
Step 1
Go to the Premium subscription tab. It’s hidden at the side panel, right at the bottom.
Step 2
You will register for the new premium subscription account here.
Now, for those migrating over, it is imperative that you key in the coupon code. As you can see, the monthly subscription is set at a default of $30. If you do not key in the code i gave you to bring it back to the original price you lock in, your subscription will lock in at $30. I can adjust it down on my end, but it’s only for subsequent renewals.
I can send in a refund, but i’ll have to deduct off the merchant processing fee from your end.
Coupon code is only applicable for those migrating over from the old subscription platform.
Step 3
The code is unique and locked to your email. Entered correctly, you will see the revised monthly subscription rate. Go ahead and enter your card details and click pay.
Step 4
That will take you to this screen.
Click I am a new user. Doesn’t matter if you are a long time subscriber or a newbie, you need to create a new account on the new platform.
Put in the usual, chose a nice name, put in the email you want to use & select your password.
Then click submit
Step 5
And you are done!
You have signed up / migrated over to the new platform.
If you go to the particular title you want to read under the respective tab, you will see that it now contains the full story instead of just the preview.
Member’s dashboard
You can update your profile, change password, add a picture if you wish at the member’s dashboard.
Navigation
When you are logged in, you will see your membership details on the right of the page.
You can log out from there too.
When you are logged in, you also unlock new menu options. More will be added in due course.
The next time you come back to the site and you want to login, just look for it at this section. I will be adding more login points when the migration is complete.
You can either login with your email and password, or send yourself a one time login link.
How to manage my subscription, change payment methods or cancel my subscription?
Yes, there is now a simple and easy way for you to manage these on your own. You want to change credit card every month also can. At member’s dashboard, go to the bottom, click Payment details & control.
It will take you to this page. Just login with the email you used.
Click on the one time login link sent to your email and you will get access to the billing controls. You can add payment method, see past charges, and also cancel your subscription all on this page.
