Description
James and his wife Yun, tried to evade taxes by buying properties via a loophole in the system. Their world comes crashing down when the government launches an investigation and starts clawing back the money. With the fine included, James and his wife finds themselves close to half a million in taxes and fines, they will be jailed if they cannot pay up, their properties will be sold and they will end up with nothing. They needed money, but Yun is too proud to start asking her parents and in laws for help.
A solution presents itself to the couple, a solution that will help them pay off their owed taxes to the state and allow them to keep their properties, and in turn, give Yun the continued bragging rights that they own 2 properties in Singapore. Itās all about āfaceā in Singapore. Yun cannot lose āfaceā in front of her friends and family, but she is willing to lose a lot more, in a foreign country.
